A moderated session highlighting ongoing efforts by industry, clinical educators, public health professionals, and frontline providers to strengthen rapid detection, reporting, and prevention of substandard and falsified (SF) medical products. Public awareness and informed health-seeking behavior are essential to reducing exposure risks. Panelists will share evidence-based and locally grounded approaches that empower patients and communities, ranging from provider-led education and risk communication to cross-sector collaboration. The session will explore how partnerships among healthcare professionals, regulators, and civil society can build public trust, enhance medicine safety, and ensure equitable access to quality-assured products.
